Module 1 — Digital workflow & global correction: image formats, histogram, Lightroom catalog, tonal correction (lectures 1–3, practicals 1–9)

Module 3 — Creative processing, automation, finalisation: B&W, HDR, batch, colour management & ethics (lectures 8–10, practicals 20–28)

Syllabus: module structure
The module runs as ten lectures and twenty-eight practical sessions grouped into three content modules and a capstone. Each module ends with a test, and the grade accumulates across 100 points per semester.

Assessment and tools
Assessment is cumulative: points for each module’s practicals, module tests, and the final capstone — the defence of an individual photo series with an explanation of its technical decisions. There is no all-or-nothing final: students see their progress in points throughout the semester.
The tools are Lightroom Classic (catalogue, global correction, export) and Photoshop (layers, masks, retouch). The approach is deliberately non-destructive: no pixel without an edit history; archiving and backups are part of the workflow, not an optional extra.
